About Us
Pleasantville Camp, a ministry, affiliated with the Free Methodist Church USA, exists to glorify God by providing facilities and programs that enhance the work of the local church in ministering to the whole person.
Our Vision
Pleasantville Camp provides year-round programs designed to:
win lost people to faith in Jesus Christ;
build believers in their ability to “walk as Jesus walked”
equip growing disciples for ministry in the church and to the world
multiply godly, competent leaders for multiplied spiritual impact

Our Location
For over 100 years people have been coming to Pleasantville Camp to renew their hearts and to discover God's purposes at work in their lives. Covering more than 20 acres in scenic Pleasantville, PA (Venango County), the campground is situated in some of the most beautiful rural scenery in the country. Approximately 45 miles south of Erie, and about 80 miles north of Pittsburgh, you will find the Pleasantville Campground nestled just west of the Allegheny National Forest and the Allegheny River.

Board meetings will be the second Saturday of the month at 9:30 a.m. meeting in Thomas Hall, location may change due to rentals.

Camp Work Days - April 20, 2024 @ 9:30 a.m. - to focus on water turn on (weather permitting), pick up sticks, start to clean buildings, and create a plan for lattice/chicken wire to wrap the bottom of camp owned cottages
May 18, 2024 @ 9:30 a.m. - Clean out from under camp owned buildings, wrap camp owned buildings with lattice/chicken wire, and clean buildings for the season
June 1, 2024 @ 9:30 a.m. - Cleaning any remaining buildings, mowing, scrape camp buildings to prepare to be painted.
For work days we will meet in Thomas Hall at 9:30 a.m. Then we will discuss the goals for the day to complete specific tasks and then disperse to accomplish those tasks. We will have Arlene Barnett stationed in Thomas Hall during the work days to provide a command post for the days. If you arrive later you can go find her there to get instructions or if while working an issue arises you can do the same thing.
More work days will be scheduled later in the spring as we create plans for projects that will need to be completed.
Family Camp 2024 - July 19 - 27, 2024
